Affiliate Revenue - Using Article Marketing and List Building to Boost Your Affiliate Revenue

One of the strongest one-two-three punches in all of internet marketing is a subscriber indoctrination program that starts with having a surfing visitor read an article, convert that surfer into a subscriber, and then converting that subscriber into a customer of your favorite affiliate program.

So how do you do it? First of all, let me say that it is incredibly important that the same person write all three pieces of copy that makes this one-two-three punch so powerful. What are the pieces? The article, the squeeze page (where the visitor becomes a subscriber) and the recommendation email copy.

Why does the same person need to write all three?

The same person should write the copy for all three because the reader gains a connection with the writer via his or her style, personality, and prose. When the reader clicks from the article to the squeeze page, they are voting that they want to get to know the writer better. If they get to the squeeze page and do not feel the same connection, they will not subscribe. Same thing for the email copy. If they have developed a relationship, a trust with you by reading the article and then the squeeze page, but when they receive your email sequence they no longer feel that connection, they will not buy as much.

People click, opt in, and buy on emotion. And emotion is fueled by feelings. And the feelings they feel when they read must remain consistent.

So do this: learn to write everything you produce, or get someone else to write it for you. Do not think you can write your own articles, then pay someone to write your squeeze pages, then use the affiliate products’ email sequence. By the way, if you can write any one of those three pieces, you can write all three. Learn to do it and watch your clicks go up, your subscriber base grow, and your affiliate sales grow -- either that or buy the scripts from someone else, just be sure and have the same person write everything.
