One Way Inbound Links And How To Obtain Them
This Article Written by John Cammidge
One way inbound links are one of the most important factors of SEO, the major search engines (especially Google) look at one way inbound links as important ranking factors. The general idea is to get one way inbound links from authority sites that link to yours. This isn’t as easy as it sounds, trying to get a one way link from an authority site is not easy unless you have a few thousand pounds (or dollars) to spare. So how do you obtain one way links? The best way if you have a strict budget (or no budget) is to write articles on sites such as this one and link them to your website. This is a great idea because you have complete control of what you write and what link text you use. But it’s not just about one way inbound links to help your own website. If you think about it look at the keyword of this article, it may be obvious what the keyword is. Now for this article I may rank page 1 on all the major search engines (which should bring traffic to this article). When people read the article they may click onto my website. So this article can help bring traffic in 2 different ways. Firstly from the link helping my own site increase the search engine results page, and secondly traffic from this article where visitors click through to my website. Just remember when writing articles you need to be aware of some of the Do’s and don’ts, I have created a list of Do’s and Don’ts for your use: Do • Write articles that are of good content and try to include your main keywords in the body of your article • Write information that people need, the best articles help people by giving them information • Link to pages as well as domain names, if you have a webpage that may need to rank well link to that rather then your domain name. • Include your keyword in the link text but don’t always just include the keyword itself (sometimes add other words with the link text) Don’t • Write a sales pitch, people hate reading sales pages as they often do not provide any information that is useful • Spam a page full of keywords (known as keyword stuffing) doing this and then linking it to your site will do no good (don’t go above 12%) • Don’t have too many links linking out from the article, like everything you need to have balance never over optimise Hopefully these tips will help you in creating good informational articles to improve your one way inbound links.
