Internet Marketing - What I Have Learned About Article Marketing in the Last 90 Days

Today was a particularly exciting day for me. About an hour ago my opt in email list went over 1000 active opt in subscribers. I am averaging around 50 new subscribers a day, so in 20 days I am on track to hit 2000. Less than 3 months ago, that was a dream, now it is a reality. When I first started list building, article writing and promotion was a small part of my marketing and traffic generation plan. But one thing I do very meticulously is track everything I do. Every major traffic source in my plan goes to a different squeeze page, and I track every squeeze page and its ability to convert visitors to subscribers, and the propensity of those subscribers to become buyers, and the average purchasing amount per subscriber per month per squeeze page. By doing this tracking and testing, I discovered that the squeeze pages that were receiving traffic from articles that I had written were outpulling all other squeeze pages by as much as 1000%! That’s right 10 times or more! Now I am spending around 2 hours a day writing articles, and am noticing a cumulative effect of writing the articles. You see, not only do people read the articles I post today, they also read the ones I wrote yesterday, and the day before that, and all the way up to my very first one. So there is an incredible exponential effect of writing multiple articles and continuing to post them.
